Voice (experiences) of
the corrected color vision deficient (CVD)
patients
A brief questionnaire survey was made by
10 CVD patients, whom have been wearing
our correction lenses for a year.
The questions were the
followings:
- How often do you use the correction
lenses?
- How do you rate the efficiency of the
lenses?
- If you do not use, what is the reason?
Please see the following
answers:
1. J.I, 44
years old male patient with deuteranomaly
(green vision deficiency)
I have ordered the lenses at 21st
of January, 2005. Since then I have been
using it regularly and everytime for watching
TV. I do not use it for driving. I can
see the colors more vivid with the lenses.
I will order another coloured lenses for
reading.
2. C.S. 30
years old male patient with deuteranomaly
I have ordered the lenses at 21st
of January, 2005. I am satisfied with
the lenses. I could pass on the medical
color vision checking test with the lenses
so I got my professional driving license
with only one remark on it, that I have
to use the lenses when I drive.

I have ordered the lenses at 4th of February,
2005. Since than I have been using it
regularly. With the lenses I could pass
on the medical color vision checking tests
and got the job.

I have been ordered the lenses at 4th
of February, 2005. I have bought it for
computer work and It works nice. I do
not use it for driving.

I have ordered the lenses at 4th of February,
2005. Mostly I use it for driving. The
correction effect is very positive. I
can see the yellow and the red colors
better. I can recognize the traffic lamps
and signals from much farther with the
lenses. In winter time sometimes when
there was dark I had a little headache.

I have ordered the lenses at 24th of
February, 2005. I am a secondary school
student. I would like to be an electrical
engineer later. I hope the lenses will
help me pass the tests. I use it occasionally.

I have ordered the lenses at 5th of Marc,
2005. Since then I have been using it
regularly. It helps me to identify and
discriminate colors. My color vision is
still not 100%, but much better than without
lenses.

I have ordered the lenses at 25th of
Marc, 2005. I use it mostly for driving.
Since I have bought the lenses I could
pass the medical color vision test easily.
It is very interesting that at night driving
the lenses reduce the shining effects.

I have ordered the lenses at 22nd of
April, 2005. I do not use it, just sometimes.
I would like to be a professional pilot
but I do not believe I will pass the tests
with or without the lenses.

I have ordered the lenses at 22nd of
April, 2005. I am architect engineer student:
I use it mostly for computer work. I can
see much more colors with the lenses.
